Ten Hospitality and Tourism students from Motheo TVET College jetted off to China recently. The students are part of 120 students from 7 TVET Colleges selected by CATHSSETA to do Work Experiential Training in China for a period of 12 months.

Jetting off to China are from left: Motlatsi Khabudiso, Fhatuwani Khabubu, Nyakallo Mokhethi, Selloane Molefi, Tshekela Tlotlo, Katlego Thobedi, Maciah Roman, Kedibone Mokgothu, Nomvula Makamole and Mbuso Mdyada.

Chinese Culture and International Education Exchange Centre, in partnership with CATHSSETA, has come together to co-sponsor Motheo TVET College students to go to China. The purpose of this programme is to provide workshop and workplace experience for TVET College graduates in China, and also to contribute positively to the growth and development of the African economy by bridging the skills gaps for those who have been less fortunate in the past as well as to offer them opportunities abroad as interns.
